We enjoyed our visit! Highly recommended. I'll include some pictures we took there.

Our trip was shortly after the Warriors won their championship, so we flew our celebratory Warriors flags on our car as we drove throughout south-central Europe. The flags turned out to be great conversation starters. Other vacationing Californians spotted them and said hello, while some took selfies with them. One guy in Assisi was wearing a Warriors hat, stopped us as we drove by, and snapped a selfie. Anyway that was a pleasant surprise, whether in Civita di Bagnoregio or Florence or Città di San Marino or Bavaria or Slovenia -- fun!

Last 10 pics, including some from our road trip -- picnic lunches in the field and on the go -- this one in Tuscany, Lake Como and Varenna, driving over the Passo del San Bernardino in Switzerland, crossing into Liechtenstein, at Civita di Bagnoregio in Lazio, and at the Schloss Neuschwanstein in Hohenscwangau Bavaria. It was an epic road trip, after an epic cruise. After 17 great days it was good to return home.

When you exit the road from the Pfeifhoffer Museum, if you turned left onto the road to Maltatal, you would have seen the remains of original Porsche Werkes at Karnten. Only the gatehouse building remains which is owned by Manfred Pfeifhoffer and is the club house for the Porsche 356 Club Osterreich. We took schnapps with him inside the building where there is an office set up as if Ferdinand Porsche was working there.
The photo is of our old 356B S90 which was previously owned by Duane Spencer.

Roy Tuason,

BTW Lago de Como is not in Tuscany but rather in the district of Como & Lecca!
Great pictures, wish I had been along.

Thanks for your photos of Gmund--it really is a neat museum. Also the Gros Glockner drive is cool. When we made our trip in 2006, we motored on to Innsbruck, and eventually lake Como at Bellagio. Beautiful place.

I intended to drive over Großglockner, but we did not have time that day. It'll have to be for next time!
