Reinstalled rear bumper- looking for best routing for wiring

Hello,

I have had my rear bumper off so long that I don't recall the wiring routing on the rear for the license lamps. I was hoping to ask for input on the best routing for the wiring. I often see cars where you can see the wires and that seems incorrect. I see some tabs in the bumper that may help. I assume there is a "best" route that won't pull the wires or allow them to show but, still has some slack to plug them in the harness.

Inside the rear bumper are metal tabs that hold the wiring in place. They are located on either side of the bumper bracket mounting plates.
