Hi Everyone,
This is my first post here and found this site after doing some research. I am thinking about selling my beautifully restored 356 D'Ieteren's and don't really know what to value it at. It is completely restored to close to if not concours quality. It is white with red interior (the original combo) and is matching numbers.
Is there anyone on here that knows these cars well enough to help me with a value?

Drake: you could research recent auctions like Meacum, Gooding, etc. possible eBay, and Hemmings. If you list your location, there are probably knowledgeable people in your area that can help out as well.

You could also visit the samba and check to see what is currently up for sale. There was a convertible D available last time I checked, for $235k.

Check out the "D" offered on Ebay. This is the last day of bidding.

You didn't specify what 1961 car you have. As its Belgian production I'm assuming a roadster. Depending on motor of birth, what's it's sporting now and condition, the current Hagerty range is $68,000 for a base to $261,000 for an S90.

Dear Drake,
It would help if you would help. If we knew your location, I'm sure some of the guys local to you would like to see the car, and possibly help with a value. Your description of the car is helpful, but pictures would be much better. In general, Porsche values have gone through the roof. In some cases at the major auctions, it looks like two guys fighting each other buy cars for really inflated prices - lucky seller. E-Bay motors, Hemmings Motor News, the Samba, all can help with an evaluation.

Drake, if it is truly beautifully restored (standards vary), the value is around $250K. More or less depending on the details. Not as much as a Speedster or '62 Roadster, but up there.
