Carb manifolds question

#1 Post by Jim Beam »

My car is a 1963 T6 Normal. Carbs were changed years ago. In going through my stash of parts I find the original Zenith carbs. I also find two manifolds but they are packed in a box marked 'Solis.' So, I am wondering whether the Zenith carbs take Zenith specific manifolds or whether the Solis manifolds work with the Zenith carbs. Thanks.

The manifolds I have in my stash are numbered 616.108.311.0R K. Solex or Zeniths?

Solex. The Zenith manifolds have a rectangular top that matches the base of the carb.
