B Hood Handles

#1 Post by michael bowen »

How do you tell the difference on a B car whether the hood handle is a repro or original?

The original will have the manufacturer's name on the underside: "Huff".

The repro does not.

I realize this thread is a few years old now. For anyone in the market in 2019, it appears that reproductions are now showing up with "Huff" and "6569" markings. I've seen at least one
"OEM version" from Sierra Madre.
