Jon Warshawsky recovery

#1 Post by Wayne Baker »

Just wanted to post that Jon is making some recovery after his terrible accident in his Speedster. He's still in the trauma center but most likely will be moved to a private room soon. As I get more information, I will pass it on. I'm sure his family and friends appreciated all the good thoughts and prayers that you sent his way. So glad to hear that he is making progress.

Thanks Wayne. It was Jon that pointed me to your shop where I found Ruby in 2014.

He still can't talk yet, but is improving. Also we seem to have stalled with the gofundme campaign. I urge everyone to help with what they can afford.

G-d bless

Speaking from experience, the recuperative powers of the brain are remarkable.

News stories back in September gave a 17 February 2017 trial date for Hyun Jeong Choi who is charged with second-degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI with drugs in the 27 March 2017 crash. She faces 21 years to life in prison if convicted of all charges.

Does anyone have more news?

With a little help from a 356-owning attorney I found the San Diego Distract Attorney still shows the case scheduled for 9:00 AM 17 February 2017.

It's case # SCD266279.

I didn't know Jon personally, but I was very taken by the tragedy and followed it closely back when. I just checked on ferrarichat.com (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-32 ... ui-53.html) and it seems Jon is improving a lot, but it still seems he is pretty messed up and probably has a very long road of therapy and recovery ahead.

I spoke to Jon via Ferrari Chat where we've been on-line buddies for quite some time
