That thing which looks like a brake drum is a deep sump? What about ground clearance, even on a race track?

bob Campbell of 356 ent. in ca. was my source for orig. under the hood luggage.purchased mine in'90 for 1k but I'm sure it's much more now! quality is excellent and bob is a gentlemen!! tom tuccillo

I am considering buying a small suitcase that will fit under the hood of my 356C, weekends away.
I am not really interested in trying to replicate original luggage, anything that fits and looks good will do.
I am abroad at the moment and cannot take measurements.
Could someone take a few measurements of what would fit, length, width and height.
I have attached a picture which I found on the net, I believe it may be Paul Hatfields, I hope you dont mind me using it Paul.
