3 year process to get an 11 year sentence for a young life is not exactly justice. Should have been charged with murder.

Broken system ..... in what looks to be a cut and dry case.

Not sure why pursuing the 2nd degree murder charge was decided against after the hung jury. If the vote was 11-1, I think she should have been retried for the original charge. But, we don't know the particulars of the case. The judge did hand down the maximum sentence.
