1961 manual sunroof mechanicals

I have a 1961 sunroof car that I am trying to finish up and I am missing the mechanical hardware for it to function. I have the sunroof itself but that is it. Does anyone have a diagram of how it functions and the associated parts so I can figure what's missing? Also does anyone have the parts? Thanks, I appreciate the help.

You will find a complete diagram and parts list for that roof in the Porsche 356 parts catalog, 356B basic book, illustration 6/6. Strong opinion: buy a parts catalog for the model your are working on -- go to Ebay and purchase a copy from Charlie White.

or, on the cheap, go to http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesa ... catalogue/ and select the model and you will find illustrations and all part numbers.

As for actual availability of new/NOS sun roof parts, there aren't any -- seems like there never was!

might proved VERY fruitful - helped with my missing headliner/frame...and is very knowledgeable.
