Dude it's awesome that you do this. For me it was a bust, but still exciting like reading the powerball numbers while checking my ticket!

Yeah, if everyone did it we would have a lot more numbers matching cars.

Re: Yearly engine inventory
Not yet, I normally never sell gearboxes, we always need them for cars. All of my loose gearbox parts and pieces go to Vic a couple of times a year. He is always very happy to get the stuff, like all the NOS stuff he got from me last year, a very excited Vic!

Shameless self promotion! How dare you spend days, weeks, months, years of your life scouring the country for this stuff just so you can reunite people with their long lost engines at more than reasonable prices compared to other parts sellers. You suck.Adam Wright wrote: check out the list in the classifieds.

I can't seem to find this list. I checked the engine threads and the classifieds. What am I missing?

Re: Yearly engine inventory
The moderators have closed the listing until I add a price to each item. It will take awhile to assess each engine, case and 3rd piece and price them individually.Jim Karaba wrote:I can't seem to find this list. I checked the engine threads and the classifieds. What am I missing?

Re: Yearly engine inventory
Maybe they could at least add it to the sticky at the top here for people looking for a certain number. There are no prices there.

Sounds like a good subject for your blog Adam. Hope you don't have to drive the dirt road to deliver to Vic.

Re: Yearly engine inventory
I don't know Jon, how many people take the time to inventory every engine, case, and 3rd piece and post the list? Trust me, this isn't a huge moneymaker considering it takes weeks to make the list, and I might sell 5 pieces, but about once a year someone sees the list and says, "OH MY GOD, you have my case!" and a car is re-united with it's original engine, something many of us only dream about.Jon Bunin wrote:What "good dead" is being punished? Are you following along ok? Do you need a diagram? Chart? My Powerpoint is a little rusty.

Adam, if Jon doesn't get it by now he's not going to. No need to defend yourself, especially to us who know you, have met you and have dealt with you.
