Bronze Retainers and Dual Springs

#1 Post by Matthew Devereux »

I've got this set of springs and retainers. I assume these are not stock. Does anybody know who made these?

I've never seen or used them, Mathew; they must be just colored steel and supposedly offered for racing having dual springs to prevent a breakage of a single spring.

Those look like old Iskenderian aluminum A retainers. If you went crazy with spring pressure, they were known to pull thru. Rusty springs tho are junk and will break.
