1965 Slate Gray - 356C Stolen - 11/17/15 - Chassis #219919
I Woke up this morning to find my 1965 Porsche missing and glass in my driveway where it was parked.
Engine #715333 - Chassis #219919. Black California license plate #RHM521 - 30 year old Slate Gray
exterior with a brand new black leather interior from Autos International with light gray carpet. Nose of car has a old 8" dent and many stone chips, hood is slightly bent, has camber compensator. Dent on left front fender below bumper. This car has never had any rust repair and has a polished but weathered survivor exterior.
If you have any information on this car, please call Sam. 323-404-7321
Would welcome suggestions from someone who has had a stolen car recovered.
I really want my car back....

Sam which city are you in? One of the guys on my Corvette forum had his car stolen in California last year, and he flooded the internet with pictures and information...His car was recovered in a couple of weeks, so there's definitely hope! Do you mind if I paste a link on several other car forums I'm on? Every bit of exposure will help. Good luck with the search too!! Sonny

Agreed, social media is your best friend right now. Posting a picture/s on Instagram, Facebook, etc. to get everyone on the lookout should be your next step before going to bed!
Also, I'm assuming a Police report has been made, you might include the Police report case number and the department contact info. in case someone calls the police directly after seeing the car.
I forwarded this post to my 356 and 911 friends in LA, asking them to keep their eyes open. Good Luck!

I'll make a post on Instagram & Facebook and ask for others to share. As stated above, posting what city you live in will help.

It's a long shot but if you want to fill your day feeling like you are doing something, call every tow company, Euro parts house, and junkyard in a 100 miles radius and tell them you need a Porsche 356 motor, pose as a shop owner, tell them you need it for a customer and will pay cash. You might find the guy who "just got one in". Like I said, it's a long shot, but that's how they catch some of the best criminals, lots of hard work on long shots.

The 323 area code is "central" Los Angeles except downtown, which is 213. But, more detail on the location would be helpful.

Thanks for all of the helpful suggestions.
The car was stolen from Los Angeles, just east of Culver City. Actual zip code is 90056.
Please share with your friends and feel free to repost all over the internet.
I made the attached PDF flyer with details.
Does the registry magazine ever include information on stolen cars? Is there a better category on this website for stolen car discussions?
Thanks,
Sam

So Sorry Sam.
I just called a couple of the local Porsche repair shops in our PCA region and informed them to be on the look-out. One of them also had a Porsche stolen from thier house just a few weeks ago and was involved in a high speed chase.
I hope for a good outcome.
Did you also post this on "The Samba" ?
