Jules, P-30010 may have been the engine that was installed in 055 for Liège-Rome-Liège in 1951. This was the first competition appearance of the 1500 motor. The car also had a 1500 engine for the world records set at Montlhéry. I suspect by the time the car came to the USA via Hoffman in late '51, it had a different, fresh engine. Just a suspicion that Max would have wanted new engines in all 3 cars that he bought.
