Seat Frame Dissassembly question for chrome plating

Hi
I have disassembled and photographed my seat frames to prepare for chrome plating. I am aware that the smaller rivets don't have to be removed, but these bushings that seem to have a pressed-on retainer ring haven't ever been addressed on the registry as far as I can see.
Must I remove these before chrome plating or do we treat these like the small rivets?

If my memory serves me correctly, I didn't remove mine before chroming.

Thanks Mike. Since this appears to have a pressed on retainer, there appears to be no non destructive way to remove this part.
