First I must say I was not having this issue pre transmission rebuild. Disc brake Speedster.
After rebuild heard a chirping noise at right rear and noticed the disc was very hot as wheel was dragging.
Mechanic adjusted as well as could be but problem was still there.
Put new rotors on the back but still RR is dragging and rotor gets hot. The left hub was replaced at trans. rebuild.
Now it seems I need a new/different hub on the right side. The calipers seems to be working properly.
Does this seem like the likely fix to my problem other then sourcing this part?
Thank you,
Steve

Maybe you have a caliper piston hanging up keeping pressure on the pad and disc. If it's only one wheel that's exhibiting this problem, it could also be a restricted flex brake line not allowing the pressure to bleed back to the reservoir.
Also, check the run-out on the disc - should be as close to "0" as possible.
You can check the run-out on the hub too - the hub in and of itself shouldn't cause an issue like this unless it's really bent.
Other possible problems - brake pedal pushrod clearance, but that will cause all brakes to drag. Parking brake hanging up....

I agree with Greg. Put a new flex line on and rebuild the caliper.

Think if you are going to change one flex line, change them all.
