Just bought a 356C and joined the registry...car has keys for ignition and doors but not glove box...is there any way...short of going to a lock smith...to get a replacement key for a car this old (1964 production date)

Neal,
I don't know of any other way to get a key other than take your lock or send it to a reputable lock smith, if you look at the vendors on the registry you will find information.
I sent my lock to Ryan, very good service with no waiting time.

Re: Replacement keys...glove box
Ryan Hernandez recently did my keys for my '64 SC. It was conveniently quick and pricing was good. They turned out great and now the glove box lock is useful. I also send him my '66 912's ignition switch and he made me a pair of keys that fit and work perfectly unlike the sloppy one I originally had. Do a search for his information. Good luck.
