Lo Jack 6V owners please chime in.

Hey 356er's,
Looking for insight and opinions on the use of Lo Jack anti theft device used in 356 6 volt cars.
The good, bad or ugly.
My theft concern is the tow truck or flat bed that comes along to scoop up the car.
At least with the Lo Jack perhaps it can still be tracked right?

Ive got 12 volts. You could leave your cell phone in the car. You can track that and maybe it will still be in the car when you find it.
