In this thread on April 24th, I wrote:
I can promise the next person to stoop to personal attack a nice long time out - that's the only stick I have (and have never used up to this time).
Not being an idle threat, the parenthetical statement is not longer valid
A zero tolerance on attacks on other members will be adhered to - to the best of my abilities.

Greg,
What exactly is a "nice long time out"? Maybe I should take
one just in case!

Haven't looked at this thread till today,...wow.
If the one thing that changes due to this lawsuit is that Greg Bryan quits as moderator,...it's a monumental loss to the forum, and the club. Talk about a tough job? I think everybody gasped a bit when he said he was nearing his limit.
Who wants that job? I'm on here a lot, and even at that, I'd not want to pour through every thread and post made. Honestly, I don't know how the man does it. Hat's off to you Greg !

A public thanks for your efforts. We know a little better than most the time it takes. Your time is appreciated.

Re: 356 Registry Lawsuit is Concluded
In fact, i do not look at every post. I am ably assisted by Gary Carriveau whom sends me reports of forum issues.
Anyone can report an issue in a post by clicking the exclamation point - doing that sends me an email message and I can quickly go to to the post and evaluate the action needed, if any.
Actually, in spite of my hissy fit from last week (of which I apologize), the 356Talk site is generally very well behaved and civil for an internet forum. Use the report key to notify the moderator of website post issues.

Greg, you are appreciated, and you do not need to apologize. We will save that for those of us that need to do so.

Dennis ODonnell wrote:Greg, please delete Murray's 5.54AM post. The thread is not "Sampson Bashing," the invective is personal, repetitive and bitter. His Bill O'Reilly stylesheet's only audience is the barefoot guy in longjohns with a shotgun across his lap down in the holler. That's not any of us. It's not funny, it's not serious, why is it on here? He can resolve his animosity by picking up the phone, writing a letter, emailing or getting on a plane for an appointment like the rest of us do. Thanks for your patience.
Cliff, what's with the schizoid behavior? You were a reasonable guy the other day. It's not the track here, your aggression is useless to the rest of us. Doesn't matter who the target is, make a cogent point about something or wait until you can.
What a joke!Dennis ODonnell wrote: wrote:Thanks, Greg. A return to civility.
