Northern CA 356 Body Shops

#1 Post by Jim_Miller »

Who would you recommend for some body work in Northern CA? I'm looking to have some prior body work redone (nothing major) and I'm looking for a good shop that knows 356's well. Thanks!

There is most likley many shops. A friend of mine works at a custom body shop in San Mateo near by is another body shop that has a lot older Porsches in it all the time per my friend. He has talked to the owner and he is impressed by his work. He is Verctenzo Martinuchi (Classic Coach Man) in San Mateo. You can also call Tom Martinot at Deutche motor sports in Concord, CA . He has a coach works shop he uses when Restoring 356's. Tom is well respected with the 356CARS group and R gruppe.

If by any chance you're considering Dink Farmer in Ukiah, contact me offline.

I recommend Vince at Classic Coachman in San Carlos. # 650 740-5276. WWW.classiccoachman.com.
Does all the work himself, old school, takes pride in his work, reasonably priced.
Tell him Steve sent you.
Good luck.

Thanks for the correction my buddies shop is in San Carlos not San Mateo. So Classic Coachman is in San Carlos. My mistake on the city.
