Honing tool for 356 B brakes

Hi all. Any leads on the right tool to hone wheel cylinders ? Make/model ?
It would be for a 1960 356 B if it makes a difference.

Any hone small enough will do the trick. If they are pitted they'll need to be machined
and re-sleeved, with stainless preferrably. White Post Restorations does this work, or
just bite the bullet and buy new ones.

Don't know why this wouldn't work. It is very similar to a Snap-on brake hone I bought many years ago. Also you will find some good info on the internet as to which solvent/fluid to use when honing and proper use of hone.

WD-40 works fine for honing brake cylinders.

I use a "flexhone" that has many abrasive balls on the end
of plastic arms and can reach in and resurface the cylinder.
If the cylinder has rust pits or grooves then it will be new
cylinders. At least here in Ca. I will say 99% of the
cylinders can be honed and rebuilt.

I use flexhone, too. This works better then all other I used.
Flexhone is available in different diameter and Specification.
Sorry, I don´t know a shop or online house in USA but think it should be more then
in Europe. My dealer informed me, he imported they from USA.

Three stone hones of the variety mentioned generally will not fit 3/4" bores--especially when new or with new stones. I had a really nice Snap-On model that never fit even though they advertised it for 3/4" minimum. I believe the size range stated by Bruce is more nearly 13/16" min rather than 3/16"
