Key Blanks - our vendors

#1 Post by Jim Beam »

I am trying to source key blanks for my 1963B T6. The keys are for the gear shift lock mechanism and the glove box. I have one each of the original keys and want to create a second set that looks original. Do any of our vendors carry these Porsche key blanks? Thanks.

Stoddard has the Porsche K100 an K300 blanks; they may have the other blanks, but you hafta ask.
When repairing the bullet switches, I can supply and stamp the #s accordingly.

The gear shift lock is a Rolls Royce ignition key. The head does not look the same. Th huff key that opens the glove box is difficult if not impossible to find in the US. WE can duplicate that key on a German looking blank for about 6 dollars per key plus shipping. On the glove box lock we usually have a 4 day turn around with three keys for about $75.00. I have been trying to contact Zims using their contact form on the website to gain information about getting a glovebox key and a gearshift key but I am having no luck.
I want to know if I send these 2 locks to them can they cut the keys and send back to me in Ireland.
If Zims are monitoring this can you please PM me or if anyone has any other information about were I can get this done can they let me know.

Many Thanks, Eric
