That was my answer to anyone who asked me what I was doing this weekend. I told them I was driving 1000 miles in 2 days to pick up an A Coupe but was bringing.
1. My wife
2. My kids, ages 3 and 5
3. My two Chihuahua's

Why, because I am crazy, just crazy.
The trip was great, the kids think crossing 5 states to bring back rust is fun.
Also, this car was a first for me, maybe it was a Bonnie and Cylde car, because it had bullet holes, now that's gangsta!!!!

Adam, If you crossed five states I think that puts you in wood pecker territory are sure those are bullet holes?

That's an Acorn Woodpecker, and they are somewhat crazy, and the only colonial woodpecker I am aware of. The tree full of holes is called a "granary" and the birds collect acorns and find a hole that is just the right size for the acorn. As acorns dry out, they are moved to smaller holes and granary maintenance requires a significant amount of the bird's time, as does protecting the cache from intruders.

Not as many bullet holes as Adam's car, but the vehicle was rear-engine, air cooled, rear drive; closest as I could get to Porsche in SE Asia. During my crazy years too.
