Since I'm not putting one of these on a race car I just realized that they need to be
made to also hook up to the J pipes. I wonder if that is a problem in the internal design.

Hi Jerry,

I'm not clear on what you mean. The muffler has the tubes on the backside for J-tubes (or heater boxes). They are not visible in the pictures, and had I not sold all of the first batch, I'd take a picture for you.

I agree- after the requisite wasted day trying to fit a Dansk muffler with 19.875" On Center exhaust flanges onto my '65 C with 19.5" O.C. exhaust manifolds, I'm also needing a better alternative!

I seriously think the Registry should mount a boycott of Dansk mufflers!

I think Jerry meant the S-pipes to the bumper overriders, not the J-pipes. That would be appealing to have a SS Abarth-style muffler with larger diameter SS S-pipes. Not original anything but sounds like a good idea, and not a Dansk. I'd use one, especially if it was dynoed and known to work even better than the stock design, which may not be in the cards.

Hi Ken,

I didn't see a way to email you in your profile so I will inquire here. How much for the dual tip muffler shipped to Ann Arbor, MI 48108?

Regards,

Ken's a good guy. Bought one of the SS and it is beautiful.

He is both a VW and Porsche 356 certified nut.

Thanks Roy. Yes, VW and Porsche run deep in my blood, and now even my sons... My oldest has claimed our '59 sunroof as his own. Can't say that I blame him.
