As I said, the one on the right looks like a 356A T1 crest from 1956.

Couple of questions. Did the crest have a gasket in back of it on all years? When the enamel gets chipped is there a good repair for it?

In search of confirmation of originality of my crest just removed from the hood handle I found very similar to the one of Chris and Dennis. I am undecided whether to leave it like this (in contrast to the super shiny replicas) or to redo the enamel...
