I also noticed that this frame has a year date stamped on the inside of one of the frame pieces on both sides and I had never heard about these frames being dated. Has anyone else seen this?

Cabriolet top frame questions
I am trying to get an old top ready to mate to my car and have a couple of questions. There are a couple of links which have broken there attachment bolts, (same one on each side). The broken attachments look like a standard bolt but I think they may have been welded in place after tightening, does anyone have any information on this? I will need to drill the broken portion out and suppose I can heli-coil if necesary, but am concerned about this weld tacking issue.
