Front license plate mounting?
How is the front license plate typically mounted to the bumper? Is there one way that is more "right", or more common than another? Our bumper no longer has the bumper guards, but still has the deco strip if that makes any difference. Thanks for the info.

Jeff,
I have seen them mounted above, below and in the front middle of the front bumper.
I mount mine under the bumper using rubber plumbing flat washers on each side of
the hole and self locking nuts. This provides flex in case of a curb or other object
encounter, also a great curb feeler, better your plate frame than your tow hook or
front valance.
