New urgently needed color question
What color was the valve cover retainer spring on a 356C? Those who know for sure, please reply asap as I am about to leave for the powder coater. Thanks!

While I'm hardly an expert, as I recall every purportedly unrestored car I've seen had the bales the same color as the valve covers themselves.

New urgently needed color question
As an added input -
The valve covers on my original unrestored `65C are cad plated, the bales are painted semi-gloss black.
