Solex 40PII-4

#1 Post by Ken Daugherty »

Just for grins, what is a new pair of Solex 40PII's worth? They have some shelf dirt but look unused. I don't want to pay too much but also want to make a fair offer.
(My conscience is working overtime on this one)

Well--there's the NLA data point for remanufactured ones:

So you'd think it'd be north of there.
But that does seem like a princely sum for a pair of carbs.

Within the past 2 years a set of new in the box solid shafts sold for $2400. For the money I would rather have a set of split shaft carbs redone as single shafts by Bieker or 356 Carb Rescue. Just my .02!
