T6 headlight switch / dimmer

#1 Post by Roland Paterson »

Hello list

My headlight switch / dimmer feels quite 'gritty' and the diming function is fairly eratic.

I assume it needs to be disassembled and cleaned.... Any tip with obtaining the correct rivets for reassembly or is there an easier fix...

TIA

Roland

My brother in law sailed from Gibraltar to Rio this year.

Half way across the Atlantic the autopliot developed an intermittent fault which meant a

close watch had to be kept on the course night and day.

He decided to call in to Joao Pessoa in Brazil to have the autopliot checked.

At the marina it was repaired in 5 seconds with this stuff.

It works on Porsches too.
