I recently installed a Wheelskins leather cover on my '64 356 Coupe wheel. You should be able to find them on the internet.
The cover is fairly easy to install, excellent fit and finish, and looks very professional when done. I chose the perforated style and like the look.
I had one on an earlier Porsche steering wheel and I am very pleased with both covers. A good feel and long service.

Yes; Zim's. They will also make a custom one. I have one on my Dolphin-Porsche sports racer, as well as our 65 coupe.

I have a very different take on this subject. If you have a beautiful wheel, why hide it under leather?

I wear driving gloves. When driving, it has the effect as a cover over the steering wheel, and I get to show off my steering wheels.

Luc, those are not leather. They are foam backed plastic so they shift around and get all twisted up on the wheel, just like the one in your picture. I have bought a few cars over the years that have that type of cover and immediately remove it and clean the wheel. Those covers with holes get filled up with peanut butter and boogers and other disgusting crud. Double YUK!

Hey Jack, some of us are trying to eat breakfast! ;-) And how the heck does peanut butter get in those holes? Are you eating a P&J sandwich with your left hand and driving/shifting with your right?

I'm with Roy: leather driving gloves are a pleasure to wear, protect your hands from the sun, and let your VDM wheel stay "naked" and beautiful.

What? Barry haven't you ever eaten, steered, and shifted all at the same time? :D That is the consequence of not having a cup holder in our 356's. Now to get back on subject.

Since my Speedster steering wheel was a little beat-up, I asked Tony at Autobahn to cover it. He asked me what kind of stitching I wanted. After a pause he suggested a base-ball stitch. I quickly OK'd that and I like the results. Curt
P.S. I don't normally have the magnetic open wheelers stuck to the dash; they were there after being used to attach the competition history of the car during a stint at corner 5 at Road America. Curt

I have one of each type of cover on my cars. The "yucky" one was a Father's Day gift for my dad's Roadster from us kids 35 years ago. Yeah, identical to the one in Luc's photo and it will stay there until it disintegrates. Then I'll get another one.

If he likes it, who cares. And it cost a lot less to boot.
