I made this horn button bezel removal tool using some bicycle spokes and a piece of sheet steel. Depress the horn button, slip the ring portion of the tool behind the bezel, tap the sheet steel with a hammer and voila! I silver soldered the joints, but one could probably get away with soft soldering the joints for a single use.

John,
On "A" car like my '58 cab, the steering hub has 2 holes in the back at 6 & 12 o'clock.

Find a steel rod which will fit in the holes. It needs to be long enough to push in until it touches the inside of the button with a couple of inches or so sticking out of the hole. Gently tap the rod, alternating from one hole to the other until the button begins to slide out.
It might need some lubrication if it's been a very long time since it was out. I recently took mine out using this method after about 26 years.
