Jim, I have an interest if one is correct for an early T-6 car. You don't have an email button.

Dan: I just Googled "red tip antenna" and found oldtimeradio.de and they list the red tips for sale.

Does anyone know another source for replacement red tips? Old timer radio says they are out.

I used cyanoacrylate (Crazy Glue). It's still attached to the antenna.Mike Wilson wrote:Hmmmm...metal to plastic? Maybe an epoxy glue?

I think I got one from Brezelwerks (Gary Constantine) http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... ?id=105631 but they aren't in his The Samba ad right now. You could ask.TimDevetski wrote:Does anyone know another source for replacement red tips? Old timer radio says they are out.

Re: Hirschmann Red Tip Antenna
The easy way out, but most expensive, is to purchase a complete antenna reproduction of The Red Tipper -- see http://www.nlaparts.com/store/redtipper ... -1286.html which is made from Hirschmann pieces with the added plastic tip -- there is also one with a blue tip for later cars.
Of course, I'm sure that whatever antenna one installs, the 'ole Blaupunkt in the dash will play just the same!

Re: Hirschmann Red Tip Antenna
Does this look correct for late pre-a? I know hirschmann made quite a few red tip antennae.
