Growl in front suspension when turning right

#1 Post by David Grubbs »

I have a bit of a growl in my front suspension when turning right. Sounds like it's on the left side. It's sporadic but I can make it do it when I try hard enough. Any Ideas?

Is your tire rubbing? Does this happen in gentle turns or full wheel lock turns?

I neglected to add that this happens when I hit the brakes - reasonably hard. Sorry for the haste.

On inspection it looks like the clamp on the tie rod might jam on the lower margin of the hole where it passes through the chassis.
