Headlight help

#1 Post by Karl Slade »

I am restoring a 64C here in Australia I bought the car in pieces with boxes of parts, I am now doing the lights.I have 2 different headlight rims 1 has screws at 5 and 7 oclock and the other at 1 and 7 oclock. The 5/7 appears correct for the car as there are 2 notches on the lip of the bucket. Where can i get a good used pair or at least 1 to make up a set from. Stoddards is discontinued same with Pelican. NLA doesnt stock them. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Karl

356 headlight chrome trim rings

#3 Post by Guest »

My 62 S90 has headlight chrome trim rings that attach at the 5 and 7 o'clock points. Brad, are there other rings NLA sells besides those you listed in the message I've replied to? Or are the ones on my car from some source other than Porsche 356. VW possibly? If the 5 and 7 alternative exists, I definitely want to buy one. Couldn't find any trim rings in your 2006 catalog edition. Jim Slawson, #18411
