TDC #1 is at 7:00?

#1 Post by Greg Spreeman »

I adjusted my valves today and finally figured out that when my pulley is at TDC and the rotor is pointing to #1, my #1 actually sits at 7:00. The car runs, albeit with some knocks that I'm trying to pinpoint but, it runs. Why? How?

Thanks all,

7 O'clock would be correct if it is an 050 Distributor. Otherwise distributor drive shaft is installed in correctly.
