Today I got the matching engine nr from Marco (elevenparts; and thanks again for that). I already found out by browsing the history report that I got from the Montana Vehicle Registry that the original engine had been changed already before 1967.

So, I don't expect anything from this topic, but does anyone know anything about engine nr 70978?

(The car (Vin 104623) was sold in New York for the first time late 1958/early1959).
