Trying to reach David Duerr

Does anyone know the whereabouts of David Duerr. He has/had a business called Maven Motors in New York State. He was building an engine for me and I haven't been able to reach him by phone or email.

Have you tried writing him a letter, I have found this antiquated way to communicate very effective sometimes.

Yes, I have sent him an overnight letter last week requesting that he call me, but he has not replied. I had 3 discussions with the North Creek postmaster and she assures me that it was delivered to him and that she has seen him numerous times since then driving his VW around town. I also called him each day after my letter was delivered and it just rang and rang, never picked up and no answering machine. The phone was still working until a few days ago when it was disconnected.

I paid Dave for new carbs for my car and sent him my original carbs in trade on July 7th, but he has never sent either back inspite of dozens of phone calls to him, most of which he answered until 2 months ago.

Well, if the deal went bad in July, I think you have your answer, I'm sorry, but that looks like the case here from what you are telling us. I would move on.
