The Motherload - Porsche 356 Collection $100K-$150K - Ebay
Just stumbled across this eBay auction. Looks like the motherload of ???
Selling: Unique collection of parts for the Porsche 356 A, B, and C coupe like original engines, gearboxes, body panels, and complete bodies (A, B, and C type coupe).
The stock consist of numerous Porsche 356 parts. To give you an impression, the following items are part of the collection:
· Approximately 25 engines including cylinder heads & manifolds (disassembled)
· Drive train components like complete gearboxes, brake drums, torsion bars etc.
· 19 bodies for restoration, all A, B, and C models included (no roadster/speedster)
· Various body parts (panels, doors (also speed-&roadster!), hoods, windows)
· And many boxes of small parts.

This one really looks like he bought out a junk yard, there isn't a body there that has not been cut on. I hope he was able to sell off the good stuff, because what he has is not the good stuff.

Looks like there is a Carrera cabriolet body............wonder what the vin is.

The shipping costs from the Netherlands to Adam at Unobtanium or Jim at EASY would kill them. I wonder what, if anything, was held back in this sale. Adam has already looked it over, and he doesn't sound too excited...

I believe this is the third time it's been listed. The first time had a buy-it-now price of $175,000. That's a lot for a pig in a Dutch poke.
