Sheepskin seat covers

#1 Post by Barry Thompson »

I am thinking of installing sheepskin sear covers on my 65 Cab.
Any pros or cons to the installation?
Any suggestions for a quality supplier of a custom made set of seat covers?
Thanks for your help.

I use them on both my Porsche's and the VW's because I love the way I sit in them. They are warm in the winter and very nice to sit on in the summer. You can find real sheep skin seat covers at most good upholstery shops and they can even be color matched. I use the dark red ones on my 67 912 which has the red interior. One minor draw back that I found was that if you enter a concourse you need to remove them or they will deduct points. That is not a big deal for me.
