Good idea Ab, but as an amateur vendor who is more of a 356 nut, it would be more fun to just give Alan one for free.

Alan, send me your address and I'll mail it when I get home.

These came from an old Ohio Porsche dealer's personal stash of parts that I acquired in the 1980s. I never figured that I would find a use for them. Now I have, and once Alan uses one of the few (three?) remaining on earth, the value of the other two goes up exponentially. Hehe.

Problem with #4 Bearing

John,
Being working on these cars for 50+ years as a hobby gone
wild, and doing them day to day, I have seen many different
"good ideas". I service many 356's every week because here
in California they are used as everyday cars. Not much
surprises me too much anymore. All I do is try to get the
cars back to "square one" you will be amazed how well they
run when just done to original specs. Sadly most of the
major engine work I have done in the last two years is just
fixing someone else's rebuild that has turned out bad. These
motors are so old and so well used that you need to look
beyond the normal items.
