John,

Nice looking car. The interior photos will help me. Thanks. Got others?

No fuel cock handle? Did all early "D"s have the door wedge? As per that car?

My "D" has no wedges.

John was referring to D 86197, photos of which shown here:
http://www.convertibledregistry.com/reg ... 86197.html

The fuel cock handle (which is certainly present in that D) would not be visible in those photos.

Charles, as we have discussed before, information about which Ds had the door wedges is on this page http://www.convertibledregistry.com/wanted.html which states:

"Early Convertible Ds also had aluminum "door wedges" in the lock post until sometime in mid to late-April 1959. So far, the latest D reporting to have the early door wedges is VIN 86219 built in early April, 1959. 86226 has reported it does not have them (and has original doors)."

Charles, I believe that your D was built after the door wedges were discontinued.
