#1 Post by al kuresman »

Hi,

the shop installing the windshield on my t 5 cab says they are having a problem getting it in. apparently the chrome trim pieces pop out. I got the rubber seal from Stoddard. Have there been posts before about there seal being too thick and needing to be trimmed?? any help appreciateed.

If they lubricated the track for the moulding it will not stay in.

windshield install

I imagine there are variations on all the pieces avaialble from all vendors but I just had my T-5 coupe windshield replaced with a NLA/Stoddard seal and glass and it came out perfectly with no problems or trimming required. Make sure your installer is experienced in doing these. I believe the trim goes in the seal before installing the assembly in the car, for whatever it's worth......
Good Luck
Eric
