fan belt pulley shine
I've noticed on new and rebuilt engines how the belt pulleys shine. What's the secret to get them that way from the usual state of dull?

the new fan pulleys only come in cad 2 gold you can do a few things replate with cad one which is dull once you get it back then you polish the cad to have it look shinny or you can carefully rubb the cad 2 with a tripple o steel wool to buff it out it looks pretty close to the polished cad 1 if you rubb all the cad off then you will have no choice to replate with the cad one. or paint

Ned, I believe that both Zim's and NLA/Stoddard both sell fan belt pulley halves with the silver Cad plating. Search their websites and you'll see them. I bought a set of pulley halves from NLA not long ago, just for my travel kit, and they are definitely not "gold".Ned Gorski wrote:the new fan pulleys only come in cad 2 gold
