Re the color "fjord green" - I'm looking at pictures of a car
I am thinking about buying that is fjord green........ in the
pictures the car almost looks black........
is fjord green darker than, for example, british racing green?

Fyord green & BRG are about the same darkness but BRG leans to yellow and Fjord towards blue as my eye seems to remember.

Raymond, if you are looking at a photo on a computer screen, be aware
that digital images displayed on a computer are almost completely
useless for accurately assessing a color. In addition, dark colors
like Fjord Green are simply difficult to photograph. It would take a
professional photographer with professional equipment to accurately
depict a color, and then only if a professional PRINTED the photo and
you looked at it in person.
Digital snapshot photos are USELESS for color.
You need to see the car in person. And for far more important reasons
than determining if the color is correct.
